Edison's Inn

Very convenient for the main street, parks and restaurants. Included parking is 5 minute walk. Just a 30 minute stroll from the festival theatre. Nicely appointed boutique style room. Suited us for our overnight theatre visit.

This was by far the most delightful hotel stay I’ve ever had! Not only is the inn itself absolutely stunning, clean, warm, and inviting, but the staff if absolutely phenomenal. On several different occasions I was delighted by the friendly, positive, and generous attitude of the Edison inn Staff. Bruce was a delight to talk to, and when we had a small misunderstanding with the room we were staying in, he offered us a discount, and two complimentary cocktails at their lovely upscale cocktail bar. So looking forward to staying again. We will be coming here for our second honey moon for sure! Love, Rachel & Ryan

The Music Suite is a great room. Well equipped. Lots of musical reading material. Lovely view. Central location is perfect to walk to all theatres and restaurants.

Terrific location. Easy walk to everything downtown and the park right behind. Decor has a cool retro vibe. Parking spot close by. Everything you need. Great communication. Can hear some traffic from Main Street (Edison Room) as you would expect.

I always enjoy my stay at this exceptional hotel in Stratford, a town renowned for its vibrant Theatre Festival. It is an experience like no other. Each room in the hotel is unique, brimming with its own character and spirit. My personal favorite, the Edison room, is where a young innovator once lived. By a delightful stroke of luck, I was upgraded to the Celebration room, a space that elevated my senses and spirituality. This room, graced by the presence of famous writers, holds their spirits and ideas, subtly inscribed on the walls with invisible ink. A standout feature in Celebration was the elegantly crafted desk. Positioned by a window with a serene view of the river and surrounding trees, this desk provided an unparalleled sense of calm and clarity. It proved to be the perfect spot for organizing my thoughts and letting creativity flow. The deep hot tub in the room added a layer of royal pleasure and luxury, making my stay feel truly extraordinary. The hotel's charm and thoughtful details made my visit to Stratford unforgettable.

What a pleasant surprise the Edison's Inn was on our anniversary stay. We came from Waterloo, ON, so we just needed a 1 night stay after a late Stratford Play. The owner and staff were wonderful in helping me plan a great weekend, with excellent dinner and breakfast recommendations. Location is perfect! The room was modern, clean and funky. We really appreciated the efficient self check-in too. Would highly recommend!

a nice stay with an accommodating staff. we appreciated the flexibility with an early check-in and parking space. location was also perfect to everything closeby. the only thing that didn’t make it a 5-star stay was the cleanliness of the place. the floor was not vacuumed. for the price we paid, we also didn’t appreciate the small corner cutting like watering down the soap, and broken fridge doors etc. just some small suggestions for future guests but we appreciate the hospitality.

Our stay here was wonderful! The room was beautiful and spotless and the people were great! The only thing I can say that I would have enjoyed is a "fireplace", more for ambiance than anything. Maybe it's just because we were there for a romantic getaway.... Lol Thank you Bruce and especially Christy for all your help and for making our stay so enjoyable.
